Hiring a Timebus (FAQ)
Why?
Our vehicles bring the best parts of London's transport heritage to modern living. They have impeccable style and are in beautiful condition.
Where?
We are based near the Capital, and our buses operate within Greater London, the area close to Greater London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and sometimes Bedfordshire/Northamptonshire.
We hold details of the best access to over 1300 venues which we have visited over the last few years. Access for double deckers is sometimes limited by low bridges (under 14ft 7in), overhanging trees, road restrictions, etc. These problems are not normally encountered in urban areas and on main roads, however.
What?
The description of each of our vehicles includes the number of seats in each. For shorter journeys, we are also able to take a limited number (less than 9) of standing passengers.
How?
Quotations are individual, so if you would like an estimate for vehicle hire (complete with professional drivers, and also conductors if appropriate), please contact us with full details (except for fixed price packages). Our rates reflect the high standard of our vehicles, and the total price will depend on various factors including the amount of travelling distance (including our journey to reach you), and the total number of hours.
Payments can be made by cheque, or the cards displayed below are accepted for telephone booking. Please note that we make a surcharge for credit (not debit) card payments.
Sorry, but...
- We do not operate any coaches, minibuses or modern buses.
- For safety reasons and the comfort of all passengers, we do not permit smoking on any of our vehicles.
- Our vehicles are not fitted with seat belts and are unsuitable for school parties.
- Vehicles are not for sale.
- We are unable to undertake the following types of event:
- stag/hen nights, pub crawls, late night parties and similar events
- journeys from nightclubs
- school proms or balls
- self-drive, 'driving experience' days or driving courses
- sports racing day transport or viewing
