Our fixed itinerary "Timebus Tourer" sightseeing package offers the following benefits:

Red Routemaster Bus

A Traditional London Routemaster bus will be provided, with the familiar, friendly radiator grille and half width cab, restored to Timebus' exceptionally high standard. It will normally be our Open Topper with Doors - a 60 seater, with 24 downstairs and 36 on the top deck. If prolonged rain is likely on the day of the tour, however, we will switch to a 57 seater covered top Routemaster Express instead.

Itineraries

Timebus Tourer reservations are being taken for weekdays (Monday to Friday) only, from April to October 2010 inclusive, subject to availability (Bespoke Packages are, of course, available at any time).

We can collect your guests from almost any hotel, office or mainline railway station in Central London, and return them after the tour.

Your Blue Badge guide will also show you around or inside buildings and attractions on foot; breaking the journey and providing a more personal experience of the sights.

Morning option (9.30am to 1pm)

0930 Bus arrives, meet driver and guide

0945 Bus tour. Typically West End, Mayfair & Westminster

1045 Guided walking tour (also refreshment break) options:

  1. St James' & Buckingham Palaces
  2. City of London
  3. inside Westminster Abbey†
  4. inside St Paul's Cathedral†
  5. flight on the London Eye†

1145 Bus tour. Typically the City, River Thames & East End

1245 Return back, in time for lunch.

Afternoon option (2pm to 5.30pm)

1400 Bus arrives, meet driver and guide

1415 Bus tour. Typically West End, Mayfair & Westminster

1515 Guided walking tour (also refreshment break) options:

  2. City of London
  3. inside Westminster Abbey†
  4. inside St Paul's Cathedral†
  5. flight on the London Eye†

1615 Bus tour. Typically the City, River Thames & East End

1715 Return back, in time for your evening.

Mayfair: Marble Arch, U.S. Embassy, the Gentlemen's Clubs, Wellington Arch, Apsley House, Clarence House

Westminster: Buckingham Gate, New Scotland Yard,Westminster Abbey, Parliament, the Cenotaph, Downing Street, Horse Guard's Parade

City: Royal Courts of Justice, Fleet Street, St. Bride's Church, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Bank of England, Lloyds building, Monument, the 'gherkin'

River Thames: Lambeth Palace, the London Eye, Cleopatra's Needle, Tate Modern, City Hall, Tower Bridge, Tower of London

East End: Whitechapel, Spitalfields

Only £698†, including Blue Badge guide throughout, VAT, and professional crew. If your group fills the bus, this equates to under £12 per head!

†To enjoy a walking tour inside a building (such as Westminster Abbey or St. Paul's), or for the London Eye, additional charges may apply for admission and other factors.

Advance booking and payment is needed. This can be made by cheque, BACS transfer, or using any of the cards below by telephone. Debit card payments are free, but there is a surcharge for credit cards.

We only book complete, organized groups (we do not sell individual tour tickets or provide 'hop-on/hop-off' services). We regret that on the Timebus Tourer, decoration is not available and alcohol is not allowed.
